allCIRC-RFID™


allCIRC-RFID™ is an upgrade option for the allCIRC patron self-checkout product. This option enables allCIRC to read RFID tags. Furthermore, this option allowsallCIRCto scan barcodes and read RFID tags, thus, the Library’s patrons can still perform self-checkout on materials shared with other branches or consortium members that are not using RFID tags.


allCIRC-RFID™ complies the ISO standards for RFID tags. The allCIRC-RFID™ supports all RFID vendor tags that are compliant with RFID standard ISO/IEC 15693 and 18000-3.


allCIRC-RFID™ can be ordered as an option for installed allCIRC if and when the Library decides to implement RFID tags. Libraries already using RFID tags simply order allCIRC with the allCIRC-RFID™ option.
